Job Description & Qualifications

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the daily cycle count program and reporting operations

results to the field, leadership teams, and auditors. Streamline reporting processes of other inventoryrelated operations including but not limited to, inventory P-Card use, negative on-hand, sub-inventory

quantities on hand, manual inventory adjustments, etc.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Reports inventory statistics to management and suggests improvements to inventory controlprocesses. Oversees daily cycle count operations, answers question and assists branches andregional operations with inventory-related issues.

  • Designs, maintains, and monitors inventory intelligence reporting through Power BI, as wellas Excel Power Query.

  • Monitors inventory P-Card purchases for fraud and misuse. Reports findings to regionaloperations management and/or asset protection for investigation.

  • Generates reports on cycle count performance and monitors open cycle counts to ensurecompliance.

  • Partners with auditors and provides reporting on audit requests. Observes and assists withon-sight audit reviews. Provides reporting and support to internal and external auditors.

  • Provides training to offshore team on new processes and technology.

  • Creates inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and otherstatistical data.

  • Provides physical inventory support and reporting, including on-site when necessary.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete informationand inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.

  • Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complexproblems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisorand/or direct customers of the process.

  • May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professionalpersonnel.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and notobjectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity tomove about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a relatedfield OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification isrequired in some areas.

  • 4+ years of cycle count and/or physical inventory experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business related field.

  • Advanced Excel and Power BI experience. Statistical analysis experience preferred.
