Job Summary

Responsible for providing ongoing support and coordination for key programs and projects within the Organizational Effectiveness and Learning teams. Such programs include the performance management process, the talent review process, leadership development, and management training.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Provides project support to include meeting coordination, sending communications, following up with respondents, etc.

  • Performs basic functions in the Learning Management system which may include level 1 user support, running reports, producing rosters for instructors, etc.

  • Coordinates logistics for meetings and events such as focus groups, HR Train the Trainer sessions or training for internal learners including reserving physical meeting spaces. Coordinates catering and materials.

  • Handles day-to-day vendor management; assists with RFP process; and, manages contracts and invoices.

  • Maintains department web pages, as well as the sites and applications used to share content with various communities.

  • Provides on-site program support as necessary (i.e. classroom setup, assisting with requests during course, managing the venue setup/cleanup).

  • Collects and aggregates data including department metrics.

  • Prepares documents and presentations for use in department meetings, management presentations, and learning events.

Nature and Scope

  • Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.

  • Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

  • None.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written

  • Must be willing to work independently

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule as training deliverables may require from time to time and be within Commuting distance of Norcross

  • Adaptive to learning new concepts and Ideas On-the-Go
