Job Summary

Responsible for partnering with OD Consultants to support the design, delivery and evaluation of programmatic organizational development initiatives for specific business units. Provide thought partnership and guidance to OD Consultants and HR business partners regarding training and organizational development best practices, instructional design principles, organizational design theory, leadership practices, performance improvement, change management and communication.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Partners with OD Consultants and HR business partners to assess, design, and implement organizational effectiveness (OE) strategies and tools to ensure strong, business focused programs that support and enhance the business units.

  • Develops solutions, tools, and training necessary to deliver best-practice leadership, team-building initiatives, change management initiatives and other organizational development initiatives. Ensures processes are streamlined, efficient and meet business needs. Supports implementation of business initiatives.

  • Procures necessary tools/resources to support overall service requirements. Diagnoses potential organizational problem areas using talent analytics data and other sources of data input. Makes recommendations on solutions and interventions based on analysis.

  • Partners with OD Consultants to create project timelines and deadlines.

  • Develops and monitors project plans. Prepares reports on project plans, milestones, metrics, and budgets to track progress and effectiveness of all programs.

Nature and Scope

  • Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.

  • Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.

  • May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, Talent Management, Human Resources or other relevant fields.

  • Superior interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interface with all levels of the business including senior executives.

  • High attention to detail when handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

  • Ability to lead projects across various talent management initiatives including, but not limited to, competency modelling, performance management, talent assessment, employee engagement and career development.

  • Experience developing DEI/Talent success criteria, analytics, metrics/KPIs and providing data driven recommendations to drive business results.

  • Experience working with a Human Capital Management system, Workday Talent and Performance preferred.

  • Experience with project management, program design/management and change management.
